Msgr. Bruno Marie Duffé gives us a presentation of « Fratelli Tutti »

During this discussion, Msgr. Bruno Marie Duffé presents us with his reflections on « Fratelli Tutti », the last Encyclical of Pope Francis. According to him, « Fratelli Tutti » can be considered the second chapter of Laudato Si’, because the two encyclicals present similarities and are situated in the same dynamic of thought: culture of encounter, integral ecology and thinking about the reconciliation of all the actors of this world. From attention to our common house, we move on to attention to those who live in that house. We pass from love of the Earth to love of neighbor. Both encyclicals are carried by a call for justice for the planet and for people. Monsignor Duffé rightly reminds us that Pope Francis, when he speaks of Social Fraternity, invites us to dream it and to wish for it, he invites us together with Laudato Si’ and Fratelli Tutti to think and rebuild a common future for the earth or our fraternal relationships, rethinking, finding or rebuilding the « We ».
