REDIF JOURNAL N°7

Fragile Families, Vulnerability and Resilience

Number 7 of our REDIF Review is Fragile Families, Vulnerability and Resilience. We must first remember that, historically, if the narrative of resilience (resistance to very difficult living conditions, stress) begins in the 1950s, that of vulnerability (the Latin « vulnus » injury, the possibility to be abused, exploited, abused) does not begin until the beginning of the 21st century to replace, thinking fragilities, the narrative of exclusion.

All of our Institutes have practically answered the call and we have finally 9 articles on this topic that has the wind in its sails, because the intensive use of the concepts of vulnerability and resilience in all humanities, social and even environmental does not stand out.
