Welcome to UMUCS

The Uganda Martyrs University Computer Society (UMUCS) is a forum for people who are interested in computer science and information technology.

The purpose of such a forum is to unite various interests and skills in order to stay on top of the developments in this fast changing field. Individuals will not survive.
UMUCS provides an environment where the skills that are learned at the university either formally or informally can be applied to real projects.

It also provides an environment that encourages discussion and sharing of information and ideas about the developments and the situation of computing and information technology in Uganda and Africa versus the rest of the world.
