The Faculty of Business Administration and Management, Uganda Martyrs University, offers the following programmes:

  1. Bachelor of Business Admnistration and Management (B.BAM)
  2. Master of Business Administration (MBA) for postgraduates
The main thrust of the faculty to a large extent, revolves around the provision of an academic curriculum which attempts to blend manegerial theory and practice. The faculty aims at training a graduate who has understood and internalized manegerial theory. The graduate will also acquire useful manegerial skills and attitudes which can be applied in a relevant fashion to varied work scenarios.


Bachelor of Business Administration and Management (BAM) Degree

This programme is offered at the main Campus is Nkozi and at our teaching centre in Masaka.
 
Entry Requirements 
The Uganda Certificate of Education and a minimum of two principal passes acquired at the same sitting of the Uganda Advanced Certificate of Education (or its equivalent) in Mathematics, Economics, Geography or other approved subjects. Appropriate Diploma after A-Level may also be considered.


Master of Business Administration (MBA) Degree

Candidates must posses an Upper Second Degree from a recognised University.The candidate will be required to pass the UMU management aptitude test or present an International GMAT score of 501 and above for consideration.The test is conducted at the  main campus in Nkozi.
 
PROGRAMME STRUCTURE for B.B.A.M.

In order to train an all-rounder, both managerially and behaviourally, the Faculty focuses on three areas: finance/accounting, management/marketing and Procurement.

These three subject areas are interlinked in order to ensure the formation of graduates who are management, procurement as well as business policy-oriented practitioners.  Differentiation between subject majors is kept at a minimum and only in the third year are students able to do specialisation in one of the three subject areas.
