When Uganda Martyrs started in 1993, there were 84 students and 7 staff. The Faculty of Business Administration and Management and The Institute of Ethics and Development Studies were the core academic departments at that time. Since then the student population of full-time students has grown to 460 and total enrolment is close to two-thousand students, In addition to the above two departments other five academic departments have been established, namely: The Faculty of Science, the Faculty of The Built Environment, the Faculty of Agriculture,
Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, the Faculty of Education, and the Faculty of Health Sciences . Programmes offered within these departments include: undergraduate, a full range of post-graduate programmes, masters and PhD.
