The Journal of Science and Sustainable Development (JOSSD), an official, peer-reviewed, publication of the Research Directorate of Uganda Martyrs University (UMU), will be moving into its third volume in November, 2010. Accordingly, researchers and practitioners are invited to submit original, research-based, articles for publication in the Journal.
 
 
Stylistic Requirements

Articles, which should be between 2,000 and 4000 words, should have the following sections: Introduction (which should ‘set the scene for the reader’ and make an indication of the contents of the paper); Materials and methods (which should indicate how the study was done); Results (indicating the findings of the study); Discussion, Conclusions and Recommendations; and References. Articles must be accompanied by an abstract of no more than 250 words. Authors may also include a biographical note, indicating their academic qualifications and notable employment postings.

Timeline

The deadline for submission is 5:00pm on Friday 24th September, 2010. However, submissions for peer review and, subsequently, production (for accepted manuscripts) will be done on a ‘first come first served’ basis, so you are encouraged to submit as soon as possible.
