St. Mary’s University is a private Catholic university in Calgary, Alberta. A teaching and research university, St. Mary’s is accredited by Alberta Advanced Education as an « Independent Academic Institution » and offers degrees in the liberal arts, sciences and education.

St. Mary’s has 875 full- and part-time students, 80 full- and part-time faculty, and an average class size of 25.

St. Mary’s currently offers nine degrees: A three-year Bachelor of Arts with a concentration in General Studies; a three-year Bachelor of Arts with a concentration in English; a three-year Bachelor of Arts with a concentration in History; a three year Bachelor of Arts with a concentration in Psychology, a four-year Bachelor of Arts with a major in English, a four-year Bachelor of Arts with a major in Psychology, a four-year Bachelor of Arts with a Major in History, a four-year Bachelor of Science with a Major in Biology and a two-year Bachelor of Education after-degree.
