Simón Bolívar University (USBMéxico) is a private Catholic university, with a Franciscan charism, located in Mexico City. He currently teaches 15 bachelor’s degrees, 8 master’s degrees and 1 specialty.
It started its services in 1944 as a religious institution of primary education. In the year of 1952, the Bachelor in Primary Education would be the first university race that the USBMéxico would give (in that then called Normal Simón Bolívar) laying the foundations for the creation of other careers. In 1981 the Simón Bolívar University arose as we know it today, adding to its educational offer the degrees of Graphic Design and Biology, being since then the only private university in the metropolitan area to teach this career. As of today, USB has 24 bachelor’s and master’s degree programs.
