The University of the Valley of Atemajac (Universidad del Valle de Atemajac), commonly known as UNIVA, is a private, catholic institution founded in 1962 in Guadalajara, where our main campus is located. UNIVA is also a network of 13 campuses distributed in 9 Mexican states. It is one of the largest Catholic Universities in the country. UNIVA has the strong conviction that through partnerships with society, we develop competitive professionals, with a robust sense of social commitment. It is a University conscious of the challenges of Mexico as an emerging country, and the need to strengthen our global vision to solve local problems. UNIVA offers high school, undergraduate and graduate degrees and continuing education in different modalities: traditional classroom, semi-distance and distance models. It has five Academic Schools: School of Social Sciences and Humanities, School of International Business and Marketing, School of Administration and Economics, School of Engineering and the School of Health Sciences. All together offer more than 20 bachelor degrees and around 20 graduate programs.
