Founded in 1875, the Catholic University of the West is one of the oldest universities in the West and a leading player in today’s higher education and research. A multidisciplinary university with 8 campuses in the West and overseas, the UCO offers some 10,000 students and many auditors more than 100 courses [bac + 8].
The UCO belongs to the UDESCA network, Union of Catholic Higher Education Establishments, which since 1973 has brought together the five non-profit higher education institutions that the Holy See describes as Catholic universities and which are commonly called « Cathos ». .
