Prevention of occupational accidents is a major challenge for the actors of the professional world. In order to strengthen the explanation of this phenomenon, for effective prevention, this study aims to show that work accidents are tributaries of the remuneration system and the type of task. Using the factorial design, a sample of 80 male workers, aged 35, single, totaling five years of seniority on post, with a salary ranging between 80 000 f and 100000 f. and having no other source of income was formed. The data collected on the basis of a questionnaire and processed using the multivariate analysis of variance, the results obtained show that the incentive pay and work at the chain, by their simple and combined effects influence occupational accidents. From this research, it appears that the compensation system and the type of task to be taken into account in the prevention of industrial accidents.
